Hope College is about to begin its 164th academic year, with 857 new members of the incoming Class of 2029 who arrived on Thursday, Aug. 21 for new student orientation.
Althea Jones, a multidisciplinary artist based in Northeast Ohio, will present the address “Superhero Mode: Taking Charge of Your Story and Success” as the 2025 Women’s History Month Lecture at Hope College on Thursday, March 6, at 3:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.
The cost of homelessness — both for those who experience it directly and for those living alongside rising homelessness — has become increasingly difficult to ignore. Political leaders propose various solutions: public subsidies to help people pay for housing, mental health and substance use treatment, or criminal penalties for urban camping.
